Fairfax County recently accepted their application, but their public hearing dates have not yet been determined.

The Applicant is proposing a residential development consisting of independent living and medical care facilities. The property is located on Centreville Road, to the north of McLearen Road and is approximately 8.46 acres. The surrounding uses include the Rachel Carson Middle School to the west, a townhouse community to the north, and a service station with a car wash to the south. The property is currently zoned to the I-5 district and the rezoning application proposes a PRM zoning district. The Applicant believes that their proposal will be compatible with the surrounding development and also serve the needs of the surrounding residential communities.
Respectfully submitted,
