• Fairfax Federation Membership Meeting
  The next Fairfax Federation Membership meeting from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23. The Federation will be briefed on the County's strategic plan and vote on their recommendations on the county and school FY24 budget.
• Cub Run Stream Valley Park Clean Up Event
Cub Run Stream Valley Park is the 3rd largest park in Fairfax County and its 5.2 mile trail meanders through more than 800 acres of woods and meadows. It's watersheds are major tributaries to the Occoquan Reservoir and Potomac River Estuary. All members of the public are encouraged to participate in the volunteer clean up event at various locations along the Cub Run Stream Valley Park on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For a full list of volunteer locations and more information, please visit the program website.

• Business Leaders Encouraged to Register for the Green Business Partners Forum
• The Fairfax County Green Business Partners Forum will take place this March 31 in-person at the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons McLean. This free event is intended to showcase energy- and climate-success stories and provide opportunities to network with green business leaders throughout Fairfax County.

• Cost-effective pathways to achieving carbon neutrality for your business, including federal, state, and local financing opportunities
• Energy benchmarking and case studies to identity energy upgrades that could result in savings for your business
• Workforce development to meet the needs of a carbon neutral economy
• Fairfax County's new Green Business Partners program and how to sign on as an inaugural member

• 2023 Tax Relief Workshops for the Sully District
• Fairfax County provides real estate tax relief and vehicle tax relief to citizens who are either 65 or older or permanently and totally disabled and meet the income and asset eligibility requirements. Qualified taxpayers may also be eligible for tax relief for renters. The tax relief applications can be found online, requested to be mailed (call 703-222-8234; Español 703-324-3855) or requested by e-mail. 
• County staff from the Department of Tax Administration (DTA) will hold Tax Relief Workshops at the Sully District Governmental Center (4900 Stonecroft Blvd) on April 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. . Participants will be able to ask questions and receive help with completing the 2023 tax relief application form. The workshops are free and open to the public, but appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling 703-324-2550. Learn more  
• 2023 Paving and Restriping Program
• The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)'s Northern Virginia Paving Program improves hundreds of miles of roads in Fairfax County every year. VDOT and the Fairfax County Department of Transportation FCDOT) use this program as an opportunity to increase driver, bicyclist and pedestrian safety with road and crosswalk improvements while minimizing the financial investment in restriping work.
• The repaving program can include limited bike lane, shoulder and crosswalk improvements with signage and markings. Bike lanes or shoulders are usually installed where excess pavement width is available. Many factors need to be considered for the installation of crosswalks, including the traffic speeds and volumes, available sight distance, presence of curb ramps, and pedestrian activity. 
• Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FCDOT will hold community meetings virtually. For those who can not attend, a video of each meeting will be available on the district paving and restriping page after the event. 
• The community is invited to provide striping-related feedback by attending a virtual public meeting and/or by submitting comments online.

• Route 28 Bypass Public Information Meeting
• The Prince William County Department of Transportation invites you to attend Public Information Meetings (PIMs) to learn more about an upcoming Route 28 Bypass project. The purpose of these meetings is to give you an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, engage in information sharing and discussion, meet with Prince William County representatives, and provide input. 
• The meetings will take place in-person with a recording posted to the Route 28 Bypass website. To ensure impacted residents in both Fairfax and Prince William County are accommodated, we will hold meetings in both counties on April 19th in Fairfax County and April 20th in Prince William County with the same information provided at each session. 

• The next Sully District Council meeting will be held on Wednesday, 26 April 2023.
