- Wednesday, June 17, 5:30-9 pm
The (CLI) is an educational program that provides tools for community leaders to "think regionally and act locally" when they get involved in transportation decision making. Led by TPB staff, the CLI includes presentations and group activities that explore the relationship between land use and transportation, and options for dealing with the transportation impacts of regional growth. Over the course of the three-day workshop, the CLI provides opportunities for participants to connect their local interests with issues facing the region as a whole. Alumni from CLI are active community and political leaders in local governments, non-profits, and other groups.
All three nights of the June CLI will be held at the MWCOG offices near Union Station in Washington, DC.
To apply, please submit a statement of interest. Application deadline is Friday, May 22, 2015.
Also, please feel free to pass this information along to community leaders in your area who you think would be well-matched for the program!
If you have any questions, or would like to know more about the CLI, please contact: Bryan Hayes - bhayes@mwcog.org or Lamont Cobb - lcobb@mwcog.org
