- Fairfax Center Area Study – Phase I
- Kim Rybold indicates that staff report for the Fairfax Center Area Study – Phase I has been published and is now available on the study website. She is still working with the Springfield District to pick a date for the community meeting they are holding, and should have a better idea of when this is going forward to the Planning Commission once that is established.
- The most notable difference from what was presented in July is that they will not be proposing to relocate the recommendations within these land units to the underlying planning districts. It turned out that there might be more impacts to the road fund than was initially realized. They are, however, making editorial updates to reflect development that has taken place, and will be consolidating a couple of sub-unit recommendations where possible.
- The Planning Commission decision-only meeting on the alzheimers home on Rt. 50 scheduled for 18 Sep was deferred to 1 Oct.

- PC public hearing on the bicycle plan amendment is going to be 10-1-14.
- The PC public hearing on the telecommunications amendment is also going to be 1 Oct 14, rescheduled to from 18 Sep.
