West Ox Maintenance Facility Expansion, presented by Roxanne Tomlinson, Project Manager, Project Management Branch, OCF. Her office is currently working on a project to expand the West Ox Maintenance Facility. The expansion will primarily complete the County's objective to provide a consolidated northern location for maintenance of Fire and Rescue vehicles. Presently, the West Ox Maintenance Facility maintains the technical apparatus (such as ladders and pumps) while, the Jermantown Maintenance Facility maintains the chassis portion of the Fire and Rescue vehicles. Reserve vehicles are stored at various fire stations throughout the County. The proposed expansion will allow for the addition of four bays to the existing maintenance building for chassis maintenance, a six bay storage facility for reserve vehicles and, and enlargement to the existing Fire and Rescue technical apparatus shop area. In addition, the existing body shop will be relocated to a new stand alone building and the vacated bays will be renovated for maintenance of Park Authority vehicles.
Respectfully submitted,
